Service Description

Class Outline In this class you will learn about; Safety Measuring and Marking What to Look For When Selecting Wood Difference In Wood Types How to Mill Lumber Basics of Hand Tools and How to Use Them Basics of Power Tools Jigs Joinery We will be going through each of these topics, giving you enough info to feel comfortable getting started on your woodworking journey or helping you improve your skills, if you already have some experience. There will be some hands on portions of the class to help you build your skills as well as plenty of information and discussion to help you understand different concepts of woodworking and techniques. What To Bring: Pen, Pencil, and Paper Tape Measure Combination Square Block Plane Hand Saw Hearing Protection Safety Glasses Dust Mask Prerequisite: No prior experience necessary Restrictions: Class is for those who are 18+ Waiver of Liability will need to be signed before class begins Please wear appropriate clothing that is comfortable and closed toed shoes. No loose or baggy clothing and long hair needs to be pulled back and secured. No rings or jewelry should be worn as they are a safety hazard. Cost is $150 and includes cost of material

Cancellation Policy

To Cancel or Reschedule, notice needs to be provided no later than two day prior to class in order to receive a refund or not be charged an additional fee for the class. This will allow us to offer the open spot to another person on the wait-list. Refund will be provided up to the two day cutoff. If class needs to be canceled on our end we will provide full refunds to every participant.
